This four-acre parcel of land was constructed with TXI Pave Grow® as a “demo plot” for overflow parking at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the Dallas Cowboys National Football League team. The Dallas Cowboys Blue Star Development company worked with TXI Expanded Shale & Clay and a road crew from the Tarrant County Precinct to install the material in May and June of 2007. One year later, in spring 2008, the city of Arlington approved the purchase of 5,000 cubic yards of Pave Grow for use as “green space” overflow parking surrounding the asphalt-paved regular parking lots at the stadium.
